The "Lunker"

Alright this has nothing to do with stamping or TAC but this is an 8 1/2 pound rainbow trout caught at Montauk State Park in Missouri and let me tell you my DH was one proud man as you can tell from the picture. In error I called it his Klunker and was immediately corrected to Lunker. This "prize" is in the process of being mounted so he can hang it in his "man cave". Do you have any idea how much it costs to mount a fish - how about $300. I said that it has nothing to do with stamping well indirectly it does...as long as the man is happy so am I and while the man is away the girl will play - that is stamping, shopping, eating popcorn for supper, going to bed at 8:30 and reading. Next week is TAC seminar and guess who is going fishing again???

Coloring cupcakes

I am in a stamp club that meets monthly and this month the group asked me to "teach" them how to color with colored pencils and mineral spirits. I thought the cupcakes were a great image to play with coloring so I used the two sets TAC has and here are some samples I made up. Tell me what you think???

Altered Cigar Box

This is just a "teaser" post - okay got you wondering now don't I?? Anyway this is an altered cigar box I made a while back. My BFF Pat and I took a class at a fun, really great scrapbook shop in St. Louis, For Keeps Sake Scrapbook Store There is no TAC product used in THIS one but... The picture is of my mother - it just seemed to suit the decor of the box. I will soon be posting another altered piece of art but not until after TAC seminar, so you will just have to wait and see!! Hmmm - wonder what all the clutter on my work table might be???

True Beauty

I made this card for the wife of one of my Chemo Angels patient that passed away last week. I am enclosing the book with the card as I thought she might find some comfort in the verses, pictures, and inspirations in the book. I knew when I got this patient the prognosis was poor but his wife kept in touch with me and told me he looked forward to my cards and notes of hope and encouragement every week. I am so glad I was able to play a small part in his journey.

Pea Picken Heart

This is a quick card I made for my dear granddaughter who is currently going through a little bump in the road of life - thought this might cheer her up. She is in her 3rd year of nursing school, working full time and her fiance' is in Michigan (she is in Mo.) I used the downloaded black/white images from TAC last month but I printed it on our scarlet red cardstock and I LOVE it. I had a red glitter heart that I used and some black/red ribbon and easy peasy a quick card.

My Namesake

I promised a picture of my kitties, hence the name for my blog - Glittered Paws. All 3 cats LOVE to spend time with me in my craft room especially when I have glitter out. The youngest - a calico_ is named Callie and she is on the bottom. Thomas - the boss - is in the middle and Nikki - the most loving of the three - is on the top The cats rule - they just let us live with them!!!

This is a quick card I made for dear granddaughter (she is 7). She sent Grandpa a ballon arrangement while he was in the hospital so made this card and enclosed a picture of the arrangement in with the card. Love these mice, colored with Copic markers, cool grays, used our downloaded paper (LOVE THEM) and a new punch from EK Success. The punch reminded me of holes in cheese - okay my imagination is vivid!!
My MoJo has not been flowing lately with DH in the hospital. He is now home but again not without problems, he developed cellulitis (skin inflammation) in the arm where his IV infusion was placed. So we are treating with big gun antibiotics and saying a lot of prayers. All of this because of a kidney stone!!!
