There is a story behind this birthday card!!! I have a very persnickety aunt who usually finds fault with everything. Challange to self was to make a card that she would like for her BD next week. I watched a video here that showed step by step instructions for making this fun paper frame embellishment. Dawn has so many fun tutorials, go take a look. I used More Mimi DP and More Mimi cardstock for the base of the card. I used my new MS butterfly punch that my friend Pat and I got last week when we took a day trip to St. Louis. Isn't this butterfly fun??? The only stamping on the card is the greeting which is from Savvy Sayings. Then to complete the card I lined the inside of the envie with More Mimi DP. I tried to copy but my scanner just wasn't doing it justice.

ReplyDeleteOh I love it! This is a fun fold. My card class ladies loved the ones we made last month! There are tons of possibilities with this fold and I used the More Mimi, too! You created a fantastic birthday card that your aunt is going to LOVE!
