October 10, 2012 Pirate Birdie

Had a request for a special little boy that is having difficult days with his chemo and he LOVES Pirates so when I saw the request I knew which images I was going to use on his card - Doodle Pantry has so many cute images but I knew Pirate Birdie and Pirate Ship would work perfect for this little guy.  The images are precolored  (love using the precolored images)  cut them out with my Spellbinders hexagon shape - used the digi papers that come with the images and my card is ready to go to the mailbox.  This card is called a Joy-Fold card - I had not used this pattern in a long time and it worked perfect for the pirate card.

    Such a fun card sure to brighten his day! I love your fold (must try it) and the digital papers all tie everything together so wonderfully! Super images for your little "buccaneer" !
