This week over at The House that Stmaps Built is the first Wednesday in March and it is my turn to pick the challenge which I chose Going Green. Anything Green is fine from plants, trees, to St. Patrick's Day. Here is my card:
and here is the card open:I had some shamrock design paper in my stash so I paired that with some matching green cardstock and green gingham ribbon. I used for the outside 4932-G Lucky Post, 1135-E St. Pats and 5135-D Shamrock Sil. Small. I don't send out very many St. Pats cards except to my chemo buddies and the grand kids - usually with a little green in the envelope.

ReplyDeleteFabulous St Pat's card and design Shirley..Loz
ReplyDeleteI made slider cards like this for Christmas many years ago. I don't know that I can even remember how to make them now! Your card is so cute with that shamrock DSP. Your chemo buddies and/or grands will love receiving cards like this.
ReplyDeleteFun DCC choice this time around. Wonderful card Shirley!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great challenge for this time of year: St. Patrick's Day, spring, etc. And your card is really fun! I made something like this to hold a candy bar once; never tried it as a card.
ReplyDeleteGreat challenge, dear friend, and oh my goodness! What a perfect card! Sliders are so much fun... way to go! Hugs...
ReplyDeleteI love the card and the theme! Green is perfect for March and gets me thinking of Spring.
ReplyDeleteHow is it that I didn't comment here? I did all of the other 'green' cards, but missed yours! Loved the green challenge - what fun! Your card is so awesome, nothing like a fun slider to bring on the smiles!!! Great job, as always - thanks for sharing!
