May 22, 2019 Anything Goes

This week over at The House that Stamps Built our challenge is Anything Goes - so that leaves it wide one to not only the Rock Stars but for those of you who enter the challenge.

Sometimes I go through my "past" creations that I keep in a basket  - and I found this idea.  Remember when distressing the edge was so popular - I used a pair of scissors to distress the edge (if you zoom in you can see the distressing) but they also have edge distress tools.  I used
10301-H Patti's Flower Solid  and stamped it in a hot pink ink - it stamped so beautifully.  I then fussy cut three flowers and place then on my top distressed designer paper.  For my sentiment I used 1105-E Thinking of You as Iam always needing just general Thinking of you or just because type cards.  I die cut the sentiment out using an oval die and then used two small hearts bling on each side.

Now it is your turn to make a card or project using Anything Goes. So many possibilities on this challenge.  You have a full month to enter our challenge.  You do not have to use Repeat Impressions stamps you will have two chances to win a $25 gift certificate towards stamps. ow it is your turn to make a card using the challenge of  Use a Stencil  -  and  as you can see there are a lot of possibilities for this challenge.  You have a full month to enter our challenge to win.  You do not have to use Repeat Impressions stamps but if you do you will be entered twice for the drawing of a $25 gift certificate to Repeat Impressions.

If you look on my right side bar I also have a discounted coupon for you to use when you go shopping at Repeat Impressions.
Now why not take a look at our DT Rock Stars for inspiration and to get you started.

I've never actually tried to distress my DSP, but it sure looks great on your card. Love those pretty flowers, too.

Very pretty! it's funny has something (like distressed edges) can be ALL the rage and then fade almost completely away! I think your distressing is fabulous and goes perfectly with these pretty papers and flowers!
