More Fun Cards

Two friends from the St. Louis area (really St. Charles, MO.) came down last week for an overnight girls stamping and crafting marathon.  We had not gotten together since pre-Covid so it was quite a treat.  We each did two make-n-takes and below are mine.

This one used the  SU New Horizons paper and stamp/die set.  This paper stands alone in card making - and Donna discovered there was enough left over to make a bookmark to go with the card.  A card and a giftie.

Both of these cards are from SU - love how the marble paper coordinates with the cardstock and the coloring blends.  This is a faux stepcard - so much fun to make.

I'm so in love with that meadow card...what a gorgeous scene! That purple stair stepper is very sweet too! So glad to hear that you had a fun crafting retreat with your friends especially after all of the COVID gap we had!! Thanks for sharing your fun!

Loved both of your cards! Was so much fun and a much needed get together! I'm ready for another one! All 3 of us posted cards today from our get together!

These are both great cards. The bookmark that goes along with the card is a great idea for left-over scraps. I actually made a couple of baby cards the other day, using some stickers, and I made two coordinating gift tags with the two remaining stickers. It felt good to use them up. The baby cards will be donated to the thrift store and whoever buys them gets a bonus gift tag!

I love your cards, Shirley! And I love that you were able to have a long overdue sleepover with your crafty girlfriends! I'm hoping to get away myself next month and I can't wait after too many years of being isolated. Hugs, Darnell
