This week over at The House that Stamps Built it is my turn for Designer Choice and I choose "It's up in the Air - anything that flies. Lots of possibilities for this challenge.
When I choose this challenge I already had something in mind BUT - totally changed my mind and went with this darling stork 4218-K Stork and for the sentiment I went with 4116-F New Arrival.
I "borrowed" my friends city scape die - and that is where the stork is going to make the deliver. I colored the stork with copic markers, then die cut some clouds for the sky. I really like the way this turned out. The stork recently paid a visit to our family - grand daughter had our third great grand baby a precious boy named Mason James. So their family of three children is now complete and of course Grandma Hotop loves them all.
Now it is your turn to make a card using the challenge of It's Up in the Air and as you can see there are a lot of possibilities for this challenge. You have a full month to enter our challenge to win. You do not have to use Repeat Impressions stamps but if you do you will be entered twice for the drawing of a $25 gift certificate to Repeat Impressions.
If you look on my right side bar I also have a discounted coupon for you to use when you go shopping at Repeat Impressions.

September 26, 2018 Anything Goes
I have been surfing Pinterest and found a couple of new designs and this one is the impossible card - which is really a fun "twist" card. Easy to make if you follow the direction. I had this pretty DP with the purple flowers so I decided to build my card around the purple.
I used 1706-I Wild Violets 1113-D Birthday and 3916-F CelebratingYou
This card folds flat for mailing but the center focal point stands up when taken out and can be sat on the table, shelf for viewing. These are so much fun to make and can be adapted to any size card. (May have to do a tutorial my next POTW). There is room on the back of the folded pop up center to write a short message and sign your name.

September 19, 2018 Inspiration Chalenge
I'm not sure what this design is called but saw it on Pinterest and copied the design. Below you will see the inside of the card.
I embossed the sunflower on the coffee cup, and colored in the coffee. Used some green twine and some pretty little green pearls to bling it up a bit.

September 12, 2018 Tic Tac Toe
This week over at The House that Stamps Built our challenge is Tic Tac Toe which is one of my favorite challenges, so many possibilities.
I choose to Sympathy, Ribbon, and Sponging, using the following stamps,
I have a lot of friends who are total dog lovers - me included and there are times I have to make sympathy cards which is difficult. I choose this happy puppy so they might remember their fur baby as happy. I sponged distress oxide inks on his - then fussy cut him out and place him n a layer in which I had cut out a heart. I had some dog paw print ribbon and a pretty little charm that says Best Friend. . I embossed my Kraft layer with a dog paw embossing folder. I'm rethinking this now and wondering if maybe I should have colored the tongue darker or a pink tone, but left it as is.
Now it is your turn to make a card using the challenge of Tic Tac Toe and as you can see there are a lot of possibilities for this challenge. You have a full month to enter our challenge to win. September 5, 2018 - Happy Anniversary
Wow - September - the summer has gone so quickly - in a couple more weeks will be seeing the leaves will start turning. We live in the woods so fall is always a favorite time of the year.
This week over at The House that Stamps Built our challenge is designer choice - and our rock star is Laurie. Her choice was to make an anniversary card.
I knew instantly I needed some more anniversary stamps (on my next order) so I went with what I had available and I think it turned out fine. The stamps I used
were 10401-O large dotted rectangle frame, 2508I To Those 1218H Heart Balloons.
I had a scrap - just enough -for my background DP, so I embossed the rectangle in silver to use as my focal point. - using my Misti I put the sentiment in the center and embossed with silver then placed a heart balloon on each side of the sentiment - again embossed in silver - thinking it still needed just a bit of bling I used a single bling on each balloon then tied some fine silver cord n a small bow and placed it on the string.
Now it is your turn to make a card using the challenge of Anniversary - as you can see there are a lot of possibilities for this challenge. You have a full month to enter our challenge to win. You do not have to use Repeat Impressions stamps but if you do you will be entered twice for the drawing of a $25 gift certificate to Repeat Impressions.

September 1, 2018 Varied Vases
Recently I got a new stamp set from SU - Varied Vases and the punch that you can also purchase that punches out the vases. The possibilities for this stamp set and punch are endless. I "cased" this from Pinterest from A Stamp Above as I loved the design - easy peasy and not like any that I have made before. This cad is already in the mail - to a chemo patient that needed a little extra support. I will be using this set again.
