February 26, 2016 Happy Birthday
OK - there is a story behind this card - f or my great granddaughters birthday I made her (Bella) her Mom and Bella's doll I made matching aprons from the above fabric. I photo copied the fabric for the main dp on the card. Then my bestie had a die with the apron which I used to cut the apron, but wait you say - yes I reduced the size of the print of the fabric and cut the apron and mitts out. The Happy Birthday is also cut out of the smaller print. To go with the birthday present I got a Mom and Me Cook book and some kid size measuring cups, spoons, timer etc. I am thinking this will be a hit.
Here are the aprons:

February 25, 2016 Big Smile
Cuteness is the only word I can think of to describe this bunny with his camera. This image is a digi from Gerda Steiner Cheese Please. Love the whimsy of her images which is my general style although I am trying to go beyond the "box" - wait no that is to think out of the box. I had some camera DP from DCWV and washi tape so I used that in my layout to match the Sketch Saturday challenge. Colored the bunny with copics, cut the bunny circle out with my new wonky stitched circles, (love them)cut the big and smile out with dies and this is the end result. Challenge:

Thinking of You
So Happy to See you Stopped By for the Sketch Challenge at
I chose to use this darling bear stamp 701K - Belle and sentiment 1105E. Is she not just the cutest?
My sweet great granddaughter has been sick so this card is already in the mail to her. I colored the bear with my copics then paper pieced her dress and hat (white velvet paper) and her lush jacket with (red velvet paper). I had a pad of burlap CS in my stash as well as the buttons, and bling.

February 22, 2016 Curtain Card
I have been wanting to make a "curtain card" or drape card for a while now but finally found some instructions that came out right. One of my BFF's Donna came for an overnight of crafting and fun last week and this was my birthday card for her. Of course when our other BFF Patti joined us WE had to make another one. For this card I used some SU DP that I had stashed, the flower is an AMuse Die that has been discontinued and the button was in my button box. I will post my male version in a couple of days. Challenges:
Brown Sugar - anything goes
Jo's Scrap Shack - anything goes
QKR Stampede - lots of layers

February 19, 2016 Curtain Card Male Version
A few days ago I posted my "female" version using the curtain fold, well I think this one works perfectly for a male card, with the word grain background - which I made - may have to do a tutorial on that soon. Words cut out using a die and the twine added the perfect male touch to this card.

February 15, 2016 Jump Rope Bunny
This Jump Rope Bunny is a digi from Gerda Steiner and he is just too cute and whimsical - which I really love to work with. Colored him with my Prisma colored pencils and OMS after watching a video on shading with colored pencils. I have a ways to go but it did have some good tips. Since this was a spring image in my mind I had some strips from Paper Studio and some cute sequins from SSS in my stash. Didn't put a sentiment on him yet as I am not sure who I am going to send this too,
