September 12, 2018 Tic Tac Toe

This week over at The House that Stamps Built our challenge is Tic Tac Toe which is one of my favorite challenges, so many possibilities.

I choose to Sympathy, Ribbon, and Sponging, using the following stamps,

I have a lot of friends who are total dog lovers - me included and there are times I have to make sympathy cards which is difficult.  I choose this happy puppy so they might remember their fur baby as happy. I sponged distress oxide inks on his - then fussy cut him out and place him n a layer in which I had cut out a heart.  I had some dog paw print ribbon and a pretty little charm that says Best Friend.  . I embossed my Kraft layer with a dog paw embossing folder.  I'm rethinking this now and wondering if maybe I should have colored the tongue darker or a pink tone, but left it as is.

Now it is your turn to make a card using the challenge of  Tic Tac Toe and  as you can see there are a lot of possibilities for this challenge.  You have a full month to enter our challenge to win.  You do not have to use Repeat Impressions stamps but if you do you will be entered twice for the drawing of a $25 gift certificate to Repeat Impressions.

If you look on my right side bar I also have a discounted coupon for you to use when you go shopping at Repeat Impressions.
Now why not take a look at our DT Rock Stars for inspiration and to get you started.

This is adorable, dear friend! Love that it could all be sponged, and putting the pooch in the heart was pure genius. Hope your day is going well...hugs!

This is a great card! I love how you made a ribbon with the tag on it - looks like a sweet puppy collard.

This is such a sweet remembrance card. It's definitely sad when a pet passes away. I've been through that kind of sadness a few times. I think this card will definitely bring someone comfort.

What a sweet fur baby card. He's such a happy dog! Sorry I'm late in commenting, had to take in my desktop to the geek squad for a tune up! So lost without it!
