June 13,2018 Tic-Tac-Toe

Oh my favorite challenge  over At The House that Stamps Built  - Tic-Tac-Toe - and with this month being Fathers Day I decided to go with the first line across.  I used 2913-I Hammock and 1138-E Happy Fathers Day.

For my tone on tone image of the hammock I embossed in clear embossing powder on Kraft card stock.  I stamped Happy Father's Day under the trees and then die cut the focal image using a fishtail stitched die mounted on dark brown fishtail die.  I needed some ribbon or twine so I used this dark brown edged in darker brown ribbon at the bottom of the card.  Since I really need 2 Father's Day cards - son-in-law (hammock card) and grandson-in-law (boot print) I made another card.

these are both fabulous masculine cards!! Kraft is definitely perfect for the man cards and so are the images you chose. How's the shoulder coming? Hope you are getting better every day!

Two really great cards! I love the hammock in the trees. I bet there will be lots of dads wanting to use one of these this weekend.
