Christmas in July - The House that Stamps Built

This challenge is always one of my favorite in the summer at The House that Stamps Built .  Christmas in July, I seldom start on Christmas cards in July but at least I know I have one ready.

I had a different idea in my head when I started and this is what evolved.  I'm thinking someone I know might get a new puppy for Christmas (no names mentioned).  I used 8120-K Scruffy Puppy 8103-C WOOF as well as 1141-F Merry Christmas and 4818-J and 4519-H Gift box and gift box top.

I paper pieced the box with some holiday paper as well as the strips and bow on the box.  I colored the puppy with copic markers and fussy cut him out.  I carefully cut a slit in the box for puppy to slip through and I pushed him through to where just the head and chest are showing  I used a speech bubble punch for my Woof and Merry Christmas sentiment with a bit of bling.

Now it is your turn to make a card or project using the challenge of Christmas in July. So many possibilities on this challenge.  You have a full month to enter our challenge.  You do not have to use Repeat Impressions stamps but if you do  you will have two chances to win a $25 gift certificate towards stamps. using the challenge of Christmas in July.
If you look on my right side bar I also have a discounted coupon for you to use when you go shopping at Repeat Impressions.
Now why not take a look at our DT Rock Stars for inspiration and to get you started.

Oh, my gosh, this is just too cute! I love that little puppy in a box. I can just imagine the twinkle in a child's eyes if they got a puppy for Christmas. I have less than a dozen Christmas cards made so far, so I'm really behind this year.
