Final Farewell
I really was challenged with what to do for our "Final Farewell to TAC" Blog Hop - and then this afternoon it finally came to me and this card reflects now only what I feel but what TAC has meant to me the past 9 years. When I think of TAC, Mischelle - and the dear angel friends I have made over the years I can only smile with the memories. Tac inspired me to take risks, be creative, and come out of my shell - when I joined I was so much a "lurker" but with the encouragement of Mischelle and dear angels I spread my wings and learned to fly. My self esteem grew, I became more confident in my skills and learned there was no "wrong" way or mistakes in stamping, it was just an opportunity to embellish!!! And embellish I do!!! May everyone be showered with blessing as new opportunities arise - I know everyone will find their niche and continue to be creative. Thank you for all the memories which no one can take away!!! Now follow the links and continue on this final farewell journey to TAC.

Doodle Pantry Challenge DPSTP5
I have been participating in the Doodle Pantry challenges for a few months now - they have the cutest digital images - a lot of which are precolored which is what I used in my project today. Isn't this School Sheep and Back to School Papers the cutest and I made it up into an easel post-it-note holder. My dear granddaughter wanted a giftie to give the teacher so I thought this was not only useful but cute too. I have shown 2 views - both closed and open so enjoy.

Special Places
I needed a card for a very special person to let them know they were in my heart and on my mind during some trying times. I wanted to let them know just how special they are to me and this card and sentiment was so very fitting , I used Fibi and Lilly from TAC designed by Mabelle and the DP I choose was Mias Cottage, colored with copic markers, of course what girl wouldn't be dressed without her bling so she has a bit of a bling necklace. May Gods blessings be with you.

Happily Grateful
I needed several cards today so off to the "studio" I went - (I am still playing bachelor as DH is still fishing in NW WI.). I needed a sympathy card for a blogging friend that recently lost her spouse, I had seen this online while blurfing and I think the site was Happily Ever Crafting - I knew that our stamp set Happily Grateful would work well, I double stamped it in Jardin Moss green then slightly overstamped in the new Memento Summer Sky - ( I am loving some of the lush colors from Memento). I used a small flower punch that I had in my drawer - diamond dots for the flower centers, then a lt pink ribbon on the side. I used a sentiment from a retired set that I kept as it has such nice sympathy sayings.

With Love
This is another fun quick cute card we made during our marathon stamping session using With Love by Soft Pencil Studios - I love the whimsy of the sets and this snail was just too cute not to paper piece. We used Miss Moxie DP - paperpieced the snail, a bit of bling and the sentiment in the lower right corner. This card is going on its way tomorrow to a Special patient that is struggling with some difficult times.

Be Fabulous
My BFF from St. Louis came down last pm to help celebrate my BD, we stamped until 10:30 last pm then got up at 6:30 this am and started stamping again and we created some awesome cards. I don't have this set - in fact this was not on my wish list but Donna brought it with her and it is now on my "must have" list. We smoothed some pastel colors on a piece of smooth white cs , blended it and then stamped the image. We fussy cut and then mounted on black then on dk green. A little bow and the card was complete. There will be more super cards this week as we were very creative. Enjoy.

Quirky Cat
I am not only a Chemo card angel but also a "sub angel" (for regulars who are on vacation etc.) and a "special assignment angel" (for those folks who just need a extra special thought or bit of sunshine to a cancer patient that is going through a difficult time). Sometimes there is a need for a card to go out the next day and with the Doodle Pantry Digi images it is so easy peasy to get a card together quickly especially when the image is precolored. I knew the person loved cats so when I saw the request come to my email I knew which image I was going to use - this cat from Quirky Cats was perfect. I used my spellbinders nesties to cut the image out mounted on another nestie shape. I had this DP scrap in my scrap basket and the colored cs is bazzill. A few bling the sentiment (from The Angel Company) "just wanted to" and the inside says "brighten your day".

Happy Leaf
This is one of the Level A sets we got at seminar this year - and is currently the August card club stamp which means you can get it at a reduced price with a $30 purchase. This is not my usual style as I think you have to color, bling, cute, paste to make a pretty card so when there was no coloring on this I went oh I don't know if I can work this one up. But using rhubarb memento ink (isn't it lush) and transdence embossing powder I embossed the leaf on kraft cs, as well as the sentiment on Mixx Moxie DP. I used one of the tags from the Miss Moxie DP (Julie does such a great job using her tags), and the matching cs in which I cut scallops and layered at the bottom it turned out pretty well with no coloring, bling, or pasting!!!
