June 24, 2012 DCC620 Head for the Beach Challenge

Digi image - Floaty Girl from Whimsy and Stars, DP Echo Park, Recollections Brads, Spellbinders nesties, CC Designs sentiments, CC Designs wave punch, Amuse Ticket Punch. colored with copics.

Isn't this little girl a cutie - she is from Mabelle at Whimsy and Stars Studio - as a digi and she has a matching floaty boy to go with.  I had so much fun creating this middle step card - looks like she is ready to just jump into the waves and have fun.  I enjoyed using the CC Designs sentiments that went perfectly with my main image. I am entering this is the Repeat Impressions beach challenge.

June 17, 2012 Quirky Elephant

Doodle Pantry Quirky Elephant, Spellbinders die, bakers twine, Red bazzil cs, white cs.
Just a quick cute little card with image from Doodle Pantry called Quirky Elephant, he was already precolored so I didn't have to do much to come up with a cute card for a cute little boy from my Chemo Angels - added some bakers twine and it was ready to put in the mail. This past week I was "off" as dear granddaughter was here for the week so we had important things to do like go swimming, visit Elephant Rocks state park, go to Chesterfield mall to the new American Doll store (amazing store), and a visit to her big sis. Got to get back in the groove this week, work a couple of days and get my craft desk cleaned off. I am working on a couple of things now - and just got some new stuff from C.C. Designs, and Archivers so hope to get a couple more posts ready to go.

June 7, 2012 DPDC24

Doodle Pantry Digi Image, Bazzill colored CS, Fiskars punch, Spellbinders  nesties,  My Momenta  Bubbles and Bling Stickers

Love the Doodle Pantry Ants from Doodle Pantry and the saying is perfect for some of my Chemo patients that I send cards to through Chemo Angels, this image was pre-coloerd and ready to print, cut with Spellbinders nesties and just a couple of extra blind on the sentiment. The Fiskars punch matched the edge of the nestie almost perfect, I also have a sentiment stamp from Stampabilities for the inside which says Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Friends House

I made this up over the weekend - you see I have a friend coming from Panama soon - (ps don't tell her I made this card) and this is for her - this is an image from Mabelle of Whimsy and Stars Studio but for the life of me I can't find the digi image - then again it may have been just a one time special. I colored this with my colored pencils and OMS - cut out with scallop nesties, cs is from AMuse. as well as the little polka dotted butterflies. A bit of lime green sheer ribbon and of course a bit of bling scallop edge with a MS punch and the card is complete. I am so looking forward to her coming - haven't seen her in 20 years - and I know she hasn't changed a bit!!!
