Beautiful Botanicals
Talk about a quick and easy card - and that is about all I can muster up here lately - looking for my MoJo but it is just avoiding my craft room for some reason. The "flu" has finally left this house - thank heaven. Both DH and I were down for about a week and a half - I'll never say nurses don't get sick again!~! Thank heaven I have enough cards to send out to my chemo patients already made up. This card uses some scor-pal work - then I took the layer and cut it using a creative memory cutter that I have had for a long time, it has an option to make a curve/wavy cut. I separated it just slightly. For the focal image I used one of my favorite AMuse images from Beautiful Botanicials - the sentiment is from The Angel Tags a pearl in the center, a narrow pink grosgrain ribbon and the card was ready to mail.

TJ Stampscapes
This is about all I could "eek" out this week - I am the nurse that "never" gets sick - well I have been sick ALL week - including Valentines Day. First the flu and yes I had a flu shot this year as always then it settled in as a sinus infection which I am still dealing with. My friend Pat brought me lunch on Thursday and we managed to create for about 1/2 hour and I told her time to go as I was going to go back to the couch with my blanket!!! This was such an easy card to make - scribbled water color crayons on matte cs, took the water brush and spread the colors, hit it with the heat gun and stamped the image. I have several Stampscape images but this has always been one of my favorite. The saying is from TAC. A couple of tiny buttons and scrappers floss and the card is already to put in the mail on Tuesday (Monday is a holiday no mail).

Birthday Card for My FriendieH
Here is the birthday card I made for my "long-time" BFF (notice I didn't say OLD!!! I used a darling image from All That Scraps - she is a Sweet November image Fairwee Josies Cupcake and she was so much fun to work with - go check out the other images available - in fact I got a couple more because they were just too cute. Colored her with copics, spellbinder dies used Happy Birthday circle again from All That Scraps, DP from DCWV and of course had to add a bit of bling. She was very pleased with my card, since I hand delivered I made a 5 in. square card so no extra postage.

Doodle Pantry Design Challenge 20
Can I tell you how much I love the precolored images from Doodle Pantry. Often times I get an email request to send a card to a chemo patient and it needs to be sent within a day or two. I usually turn to the precolored images this one being Finny Fish and the sentiment is from Plush Panda print them out with a nestie die - for this one I used Labels 5. I added some pearl "bubbles - mounted it on a strip of ribbon and then on a blue cs that I had run through my cuttlebug - this embossing folder reminds me of bubbles so it worked perfect. Every month they have a challenge so this will be for the current challenge #20.
