May Paper Wings Blog Hop
May is always a "sad" time being a TAC instructor - we must say goodbye to some of our favorite images BUT...the anticipation of NEW images coming in June makes up for the ones we will be retiring. This month at PaperWings we are saying goodbye to some of our favorite images in a blog hop. I choose Spunky Sprite Girls - I purchased this set when it first came out as my dear GD was 6 and I thought this fit her perfectly. She is now 9and enjoys more of the "tween" images. A few weeks ago some friends and I took a class at the LSS in using Spellbinders" nesties. This card is an exact "CASE" from one we did in the class. I used the largest scallop circle and made my card base from kraft cs - then a pale pink circle and then the little spunky girl on the scallop circle. Colored with copic markers, a pink/white gingham bow and a pretty little rose complete my card. How cute did she turn out?? I am going to send it to dear GD just to let her know she is still my "little" sweet GD. Now why not hop on down the list and see what the other angels have choose as their "retiring" image.

I love the card design, Shirley. looks like you took a fun class. What a sweet story to go with the sweet image. Love how you colored it and she'll love the card!

Ha - Take that Blogger! I'm here, and I'm commenting!!!! Love your card, Shirley! I'm sure going to miss those sweet Sprite kids, but maybe they will be replaced with something SO much more fun!!! Have fun with Paige and Lacey tomorrow! Talk to you soon - hugs!
Great adaptation of the card design for the Favorite Farewell Blog HOp. Spunky Sprite Girls is a favorite of mine too! If I were your granddaughter, I'd cherish this card forever!
