LooLoo
Is she not the "CUTEST" - love LooLoo pig from Whimsy and Stars. She is a digi image and Mabelle is so talented with her wonderful images. I printed her out on Neenah Solar White cs and colored her with copic markers - R11, R21 and E21 for the piggie, and her tutu is YG00, YG01, YG03 and Yg13. For the DP I used Fancy Pants Tropical, cs is Bazzill, nesties to mount LooLoo on and the sentiment is from TAC and it just fit perfectly. Mabelle is having a blog hop on May 1st so go join and see what beautiful images will be displayed.

Mothers Day Birdhouse
I was asked to be a guest designer for a wonderful 3-D art designer Adela Rossol her web site is Creations by AR. She has some simply wonderful designs so go check it out. I will be giving away both templates one LUCKY commenter will win the Birdhouse Topiary and another LUCKY WINNER will win the Graduation Cap. The winner will be announced on Friday April 27. For this project - BIRDHOUSE TOPIARY I used all AMuse cardstock - it was just the right weight to fold, I used black/white polka dots, black/white gingham, onyx solid and did you see the roof - red woodgrain!!! I did a bit of landscaping with flower soft around the post and added grass around the bottom of the box using AMuse grass die and green gingham. This would make an awesome Mothers Day giftie - you see the top can be taken off and you can put a gift card, seeds, money, or chocolate in the bottom of the box.
The next project was a cute simple graduation hat - so simple, easy peasy to make - print, score and cut, a couple of pieces of double sided tape and the box is complete. How much fun was this tassel to make - (which are included in the directions along with the template. I chose my school colors green/gold in fact I think I will make these next year for our high school class reunion (how about a 50th class reunion). The box opens and can hold money, small piece of jewelry , or I think I am going to photo copy our high school pics and roll them up like a scroll and put them inside. Now if you will continue and leave comments "YOU" could be the Lucky Winner!!!

This is the second card we made when my friend and stamping buddy was here this past weekend - using the set from Hero Arts Wish Big I cut a die cut card using nesties label 11 - (love shaped cards), stamped the ballons on AMuse Cloud paper - then paper pieced the balloons with AMuse cardstock in different colors. Love to paper piece, stamped the sentiment on the left side, and used a pink and yellow bakers twin to tie a bow on the strings of the balloons. This was a fun card to make and is going to another staming friend who has a birthday coming up this week.

Wish Big Cupcake
The big rage current now is the newsprint images - I "think" I like them - not quite sure yet, but bought this set by Hero Arts called Wish Big and it has several fun clear stamps. My friend Donna T. was here for an overnight of stamping this weekend while DH was fishing (and he didn't catch a single fish - AND he went to Michigan to fish!!!). I think that trip is good for at least 1 or 2 new sets!!! Ok back to the card. We stamped the cupcake on light purple, cut it out and popped it up on DCWV Birthday pack strip cs, used the Celebrate from a set from TAC - and it worked perfect for this card. Little scallop on the bottom and card was complete. I will post the other card we made using this same set next time.

Rosie
Isn't she just too cute - LOVE Rosie from Whimsy and Stars studio - and the artist Mabelle is just awesome - this was a "freebie" she offered last week so I snagged it and couldn't wait to work her up. Colored with copic markers, DP is/was a DP from Mabelle many years ago offered at the Angel Co. called Bella Flor, well I am what you call a paper hoarder I guess so I just had to use it on this card. Used red ribbon on the side to tie it together and 3 little paper flowers (colored with copic) to complete my design. Thanks Mabelle for the opportunity to play with your newest image.

Just my Type
Another card that was made for my open house recently - this one was made by my friend Patti J. and I love this set too - well is there not a set that I don't like - well NO. Again this card was a quick and easy one using all AMuse products, embossing the typewriter on onyx cs with white embossing powder, cutting it out popping it up with pop dots and then selecting the message for the typewrite paper. How much fun was it to select the sentiment as it has a selection of 7 to choose from. I think this would be a perfect masculine card because of the colors used and you could make it more "girly" by changing up the color scheme to softer colors.

New Puppy
My granddaughter found a "new" puppy in her Easter basket - well her name is Lady and she is 2 years old and was adopted from the Humans Society, she is just precious - and Megan is so excited. Megan is now 10 1/2 and Mom and Dad felt like she was old enough to handle the responsibility of a dog. So I had to make her a card and send a little "treat" money in with the card, she is so anxious to go to PetsMart and take Lady with her to pick out a treat and maybe a toy too!!! I used Pure Innocence stamp (which I love love love, they are so darned cute and easy to work with, colored her with my copic markers, found a bone eyelet I had in my eyelet box and the paper is from a pack from DCWV. I know I will get a phone call when Megan gets her card.

Enjoy the Ride
Aren't these too cute - I made these 2 cards (again for my display board for my open house) using Enjoy the Ride set by AMuse and I absolutely love this set. First because of the ease with which you can create a quick and simple card using the red cs by Amuse and embossing in white, then again creating a "hill" and sitting the bike with flowers on the basket and a bit of bakers twine to add balance. I love all the wonderful sentiments included in this set and I know I will be using it often.

Bunny Rabbit
I "WON" this bunny rabbit template this week which is by Adela Rossol, she has a lot of cute templates for sale and all you have to do is print them from your computer after she sends you the download. For my bunny I used AMuse cs - the brown polka dot that was discontinued and replaced with a smaller polka dot pattern (which I like better) but for this project the bigger dots worked well. I cut it out with my handy cutter bee scissors, 2-3 pieces of double sided adhesive and she/he was ready to get some accessories. I used a piece of ecru lace with pearls I had in my scrap bag, the ears and nose are out of pink and ran through my cuttlebug with the swiss dots, and then I used pearl eyes in pink and a glittsy pompom on the tail. She looked so cute sitting by my Easter Tree which I decorate every year.

DPDC22
I usually enter the Doodle Pantry Challenge and this month is no exception. As a lot of you know I do Chemo Angels and send cards to patients that need encouragement or are celebrating a milestone in their treatment. I received a special request for a patient that was completing her radiation treatments and I thought this card would be perfect to send to her. This image was pre-colored so it was easy peasy. My friend Pat was over today and she brought a circle easel card that she had received recently in the mail so we played a bit and came up with this. I used a clear button and punched out a circle, glued it behind the clear button tied some scrappers floss into a little bow and used it as my prop for the easel. I think this will bring a smile to my patients face when she receives it.

For Peeps Sake
I had a small open house/fun get together this past Saturday - and did well, the gals enjoyed the make-n-takes, coffee and Easter cookies that I (oops Walmart) baked. The Thursday before the open house my friend Pat and I made up some samples to put on my display boards (which I will be posting soon) but this evening I am posting 2 cute quick fun all Amuse product Easter cards. I posted them this evening so Icould get them out in the mail in the morning. I used something new to me - the washi tape and how much fun it was - I got the spring collection and one of the make-n-takes used the washi tape. It adds just a bit of color and no work at all. Be watching for more posts real soon.
