March 26, 2014 Little Miss Muffet Birdies

Digi Image from Little Miss Muffet, colored with prisma colored pencils and OMS, cs AMuse, flowers from my stash

Isn't this a darling spring fun image - love this little girl sitting on the limb with the birdies, they also have a little boy sitting on a log which I am going to buy today - he is just as cute. This one is Swings and Slides Birdies and she was so much fun to color - this time i used my colored pencils and OMS. She is ready to go in the mail to my little chemo buddy - (just got a note from her mom and she said she looks so forward to her Angel Mail)  I usually put stickers on the envie so she knows it special and is for her.  I usually try and put a little something extra in the envie - this time I am going to send her a couple of pictures to color and an extra envie so Mom can send them back to me so I can put them on my refrigerator.  This card will also go in these challenges:
     Sketch Saturday - follow sketch
     Whoopsi Daisy - Spring
Kaboodle Doodles - Dreaming of Spring
     Sister Act - Cards only
Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes

March 23, 2014 Color Sandwich

This card is done using an "old" technique from Technique Junkie - in fact 2011 but I still like the technique - you know some things just work well no matter when they came out.  This was made using a stamp/die cut stamp set from "Archivers" (miss them a lot) - Tim Holtz Distress inks, spogne daubers, some bakers twine and a strip of strip paper.  I like the way this turned out and it is already to go in the mail tomorrow to a chemo buddy.  Talk about quick and easy, this is it.

March 19, 2014 Happy Easter

Great Impressions stamp, DP Imaginisce, SU ticket punch, Spellbinders nesties, cotton balls colored with copics, button and brad from my stash.

I made this for Sketch Saturday Challenge this week, love this stamp and I am ready to start making Easter cards.  Love the bunny tails all colored - the cotton puffs were colored with my copics - easy easy, and the bunnies and flowers were also colored with copics, Spica glitter pens for Happy Easter.  Now for some signs of spring would be really nice here in southern MO.   Challenges:

March 18, 2014 Catapillar Mail

There was a request from a friend for a card for a special patient that she was going to forward some cards to, and when I saw the Catapillar Mail on Doodle Pantry I knew that was what I wanted to use to make her card.  I used a precolored digi (easy peasy) and printed out some DP that comes with the digi, still needed another DP so went to my old TAC papers for the purple flower DP.  Had not used my sewing machine to stitch cards in a while and I love the look so stitched all the DP down, used a die cut for the focal image - tied a cute yellow bow with my bow easy and the card was ready to be on the way.  I liked the card so much I made my little chemo buddy one too!!!     Challenges:

Glitter n Sparkle - Include some green
The Shabby TeaRoom - Anything Goes

March 17, 2014 Swinging Shamrocks

Had to post one last Happy St. Pats Day card - I thought I had deleted one portion but went digging and "found" it in another file.  I saw this card on a friends blog and had to CASE it - on the front of the card I punched three shamrocks out of DP from Michaels  Studio G green paper pack, die cut from AMuse Studio, on the inside I hung the shamrocks from the outside with green embroidery thread so they dangle when you open it.  Thought it turned out cute.  I have a friend coming tomorrow to play and this is going to be one of my projects only with a spring/Easter theme.

March 15, 2014 Irish Birdie

This is my last St. Pat's Day cards I made - well ok I made another one that was really really cute and I somehow deleted it - hate that when that happens, so I will just have to make another one different theme.  This Irish birdie is a digi from Doodle Pantry - so cute, precolored for a quick and easy card.  I mailed out several this year to my chemo buddies, daughter, and granddaughter.  Now on to spring, Easter, sunny cards, winter has gone on long enough.

March 10, 2014 Happy St. Patricks Day

Doodle Pantry Digi Image, CS from stash
Spellbinders deckle nestie, doily

I had "several" St. Pats cards to make this year - several for chemo buddies, my dear daughter, and a senior buddy.  This one was so easy to put together after I sized and printed the precolored digi, distressed a doily and choose some DP to put behind the image.  I found some really cute st. Pats dish towels, green dish scrubbies, and green hand santizer, plus some gum and mints.  For daughter grandma had to put something "GREEN" as in $$$ for the dear granddaughter.     Challenges:
Doodle Pantry - Any Digi Goes
Left of Center - Die Cuts
Cut it Up - St. Patricks Card
Digi Haven - 3 shades of Green
Pattie's Creations Design - green for St. Patricks Day

March 6, 2014 Happy St. Pats Day

Wanted to get this in so i could post to the Sketch Saturday - so sweet and simple as it is a precolored digi from TLC - and it was FREE.  The papers came from Michaels bargain bin  from Studio G - all in greens and the plaid was just what I was looking for in this card.  My Mo-Jo has taken a break since our girls weekend two weeks ago - we were so creative and I have so many new cards that I can send out, but in hopes of spring I plan on starting some springy cards this weekend.
