April 27, 2014 Thinking of You

Great Impressions Stamp, doiley from my stash, cs from stash, colored with prisma colored pencils

Went shopping last week with some dear stamping friends in Kimmswick Mo.  There is a small stamping store there called the Stamp Pad and she has everything!!!  I just don't know how she could get much more in the store without setting up shop on the sidewalk.  I bought this little stamp as I thought it would "stand alone" for those quick Thinking of You cards that I always seem to need.  I followed a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and I think I got in just under the wire.  This will be going out in the mail tomorrow to a senior that needs just an extra bit of cheer.

What a SWEET card, Shirley! I love how you wrapped the jute around the paper strip - SO clever and a nice touch of shabby chic! Thanks so much for stopping by to share your talents with us. Please join us again soon.

Beautiful card, I like the soft colors. This does make a lovely stand alone card or would like a good inside of a card too! What a fun day we had shopping and at lunch!
