Stamp by Stampabilities, DP SU, punch SU, bakers twine - AMuse, MS butterfly punch

This was one of my favorites that a friend and I made last week when we got together for a fun stamping day.  Love this stamp and have used it a lot, it has been around for a long time says 2002 on the stamp but it is one that just doesn't go out of style.  Paired this up with SU watercolor papers and some green cs from my stash.  Can't wait for this card to find a new home.

Stamp Crafters Companion "Falling Feathers" colored with Inktense water color pencils, water color paper, CS Amuse

Yet another beautiful card created last week when my friend and stamping bud came over for a fun day.  She brought this stamp with her and I thought it was beautiful - now the card is "cased" from Mary Dawn - My pink mexico but love how the water color pencils worked with this image.  Can't wait to send this one out.

May 25, 2014 Baby Patch Elephant

Needed a baby boy congrats card so I "borrowed" my friend Patti's craft supply.  Love this little patch elephant so I paper pieced him with papers from DCWV All About Boys which I have had for quite a while but it really has some cute boy papers.  Love how mat stacks match.  This card will be in the mail in a couple of days with a cute little card for big brother too.  Challenge:

DP by The Paper Loft  Stamp by Close to my Heart, bling from my stash

My friend Patti and I had a play date this week - love getting together with my stamping buddies and creating.  I love it when two people use the same supplies but the cards look entirely different.  I used Shades of Gray Collection from the Paper Loft and decided to enter their challenge this week - following their sketch.  Not much stamping on this one except the HI but sometimes you need that card in a hurry to send a little cheer or encouragement to a friend and this surely fits the bill.  Challenges:

May 20, 2014 How Swell

Stamp set from Angel Co. - Spellbinder dies, paper DCWV, bugs EK Success

I have been having some Physical therapy and my PT just told me that she was pregnant - so excited for her so when I saw the sketch on Sketch Saturday I knew how I was going to design this card.  I paper pieced her top and hat colored her slacks.  I took a mouse pad and round wood tool and puffed out her top just a bit to show her baby bump.  Since I had used the lady bug paper I decided to trim with some lady bug stickers which gives it a bit of dimension.  I got her a cute little pair of socks to tuck inside the card.

May 16, 2014 Parrot Tulips

Great Impressions Parrot Stamps and Hugs from the Angel Co. butterfly die from AMuse, Ribbon from AMuse, cs from AMuse.

My chemo buddy has "graduated" from the chemo angels program - in other words has completed treatments.  This is my special congrats card to her as well as a gift.  She was such an inspiration to me - working through out her treatment as well as raising her family - I will surely keep in touch with her.  Hope she enjoys her card.  

I love this stamp from Great Impression  and have used it for several cards, it is fun to color with copics, watercolors or paper piece.  It is simply a stand alone image in my book.

May 1, 2014 Feline Fine

One of my little chemo buddies has had a rough two weeks with blood counts being LOW, temps, and having to stay pretty much inside, after her recent blood work her counts had improved greatly so I made a card to send that I thought had the purr-fect sentiment.  Plus I am entering this is a couple of challenges this week, Sketch Saturday and Doodle Pantry - when you use a Doodle Pantry digi there is a really cool set of cars just for entering this month.  Will be very handy to have to masculine cards.
