August 30, 2015 Happy Halloween
I'm not totally in the mood yet for fall - in fact it is upper 80's here today but I had a new set from Lawn Fawn that has 21 Halloween stamps and then the dies were sold separately "but" since my punch card from the Stamp Pad was full I thought what the hey!!! My friend Pat got together for a "girls day". We started out with a pedi - oh pretty pretty toes in a nice rich fall color. Then back to my house for lunch and a little bit of craft time. I used AMuse Studio papers, bling, and twine. This card went together very simply and love the Lawn Fawn dies that are so easy to cut the image, So I have 1 Halloween card ready. Challenges:

August 25, 2015 Cupcake Kitty
Another Gerda Steiner digi - I love kitties an d cupcakes plus I had the DP with glitter cupcakes that I thought would go well with the kitty. Colored with copic markers - sprinkled with some "new" mini sequins from AMuse studio (they come in 10 delicious colors). By stamping the sentiment Have a sweet day cupcake on the outside I thought I could put a Happy Birthday or a Take Care or Just Because on the inside - whatever the need was.

August 22, 2015 - Hippo Hi
Another one of Gerda Steiners digi images. Hippos seem to be "popular" now - and a lot of special request for Chemo Angels the favorite animal is hippo and giraffe. This "big" guy is so cute and fun to color up. I love gray and yellow together and I found a crouched yellow flower in my stash that was just the extra i was looking for to finish this card.

August 20, 2015 Merry Christmas
Every year I "challenge" myself to make a Christmas card using nontraditional stamps. I was using this set from AMuse for a swap I was in and I immediately thought Christmas. Finished making my swap cards and die cut out a few extra images, stamped them, and saw that they needed a bit of sparkle so out with the "glitter". Some bling for eyes some bakers twine for bows stamped a Merry Christmas and I think it turned out pretty cutesy. Challenges:

613 Avenue - anything goes
Penny's Paper - anything goes

August 19, You've got This
In real life this card is so much more "metallic" and really shines. I made this card totally for a challenge over at The House of Cards which this month was "metallic". I was looking through my supplies of "hoarded" stuff and ran across this and I don't even remember what it is called or where I got it but I know I have had it for a long time!!! I embossed the sheet of Metallic cs with an embossing folder, then embossed this flower from SU on a white ice silver curious metallic cs from The Paper Cut fussy cut it out as well as the sentiment. Found some sheer ribbon with metallic threads and the card was complete. I really like the way it turned out. Challenges:
House of Cards - metallic

Through the Craft Room Door - anything goes

August 16, 2015 Ballerina Bunny
One of my "goals" was to use those darling little fun stamps that are at the checkout at your favorite stamp store and this is just one of several - she is just so darn cute - got to love her with her little ballerina tutu on and her arms out ready for a twril. I had some paper (in my stash) that I thought went very well with this image and used a sheet of it. Some tiny sequins (from AMuse) and this card is ready to go - and I think I already know who is going to get this in the mail!!!

August 13, 2015 Sending Smiles
Again saw my "stash" of wide chevron twill ribbon and designed my card around my ribbon. A couple of weeks ago I reorganized my clear stamps and you know all those small cute ones that are either at the checkout or on a "special" rack for under $2.00 - well this is one of those. I'm so enjoying watercoloring so this one is watercolored on Tim Holtz watercolor paper which works very well. Some "stashed" AMuse big polka dot cs and a bit of twine through the ribbon and with a card like this it won't stay in my basket long before it goes out as a special request.

August 11, 2015 Napping Dog
Is this not the cutest little puppy and his pal sleeping, this image is from Gerda Steiner, it is so easy to fall in love with her images - this one was a digi, I have 3 or 4 of her digi images of 2 of her stamp sets (but want more). I struggle with coloring lifelike animals but this one turned out pretty cute, and he just looks like he is dreaming. I use coordinating papers from a paper pack I had "stashed" from Hobby Lobby, as well as some rust brown gems I had in my collection and die cut the word dream. I know this one won't be in my collection long. Challenges:

August 8, 2015 How are Ewe
Have I mentioned that I love the Gerda Steiner stamp sets that I have - I have two and would like to add a couple more sets to my collection. I love whimsy and this falls into my style. I also love this fold which I cased from a SU site (can't remember which one) but it is fun to work with.
Here is the inside of the card - haven't put a sentiment yet as I am not sure who or what this one is going to. But love following through with the same theme as the front of the card.

August 5, 2015 I'm here for You
When I looked through the new SU catalog this was just one of their new stamp sets that I had on my wish list. I love the simplicity of the flower - you can leave it uncolored, you can color, watercolor, emboss - there are so many things you can do with this image. I have a friend who is having some struggles so this is for her. although I have already told her I am here for you I'm thinking a card will help. Challenges:

August 4, 2015 From the Heart
Another "fun" card I have been wanting to try is an upright Z-fold - I made a tiger baby card last week but this week I needed a Sympathy card and thought this would work very well. I like black/white together and think it made a very pertty card. the flowers are embossed, the cs is from AMuse studio and the big brad is from my stash that I have had forever. I am really trying hard to use supplies I have in my stash - sometimes even finding a gem and coming up with a project to go with what I have found to use. Thinking a "move" is in our future so I really really need to start thinking about what I really need to continue this creative hobby.

August 1, 2015 Flower Pot
I have been wanting to make a flower pot card for a long long time but never got around to it. One of my besties Donna had a pattern and shared it with me - and what a fun card this is - and I love how everything fell together when I made this card. The colors, the ribbon and the saying just all seemed to go together. I have several birthdays coming up this month so this will be one of the cards I send for sure. I saved the pattern and know I will be making more of these flower pots in the future. See why stamping never gets old???
