I love pattern paper - well I guess I could be called a collector (or hoarder) of pretty papers. Our challenge this week over at The House that Stamps Built is to use pattern paper. My only decision was to decide which papers.
I used this pretty poinsettia stamp 2012-H Large Poinsettia which I stamped and colored twice. I fussy cut the flower out then just the top layer which is the layer I popped up using small pop dots. Added two leaves 10315- Leave Outline Wavy under the poinsettia and for my sentiment I used 1141-F Christmas. I had two beautiful poinsettia papers that complimented each other, and if you look closely no bling on this one.
Now it is your turn to make a card or project using the challenge of pattern papers. so many possibilities on this challenge. You have a full month to enter our challenge. You do not have to use Repeat Impressions stamps but if you do you will have two chances to win a $25 gift certificate towards stamps. using the challenge of use pattern papers.
If you look on my right side bar I also have a discounted coupon for you to use when you go shopping at Repeat Impressions.
Now why not take a look at our DT Rock Stars for inspiration and to get you started.

This is gorgeous Shirley, very eye catching! Like your reverse color poinsettia papers and the dimensional poinsettia!
Ooooooh, your poinsettia card is so pretty! You did such a nice job on it. The dimension of the focal poinsettia really adds some oomph to your design. I don't often think to fussy-cut images from the DSP that I have and pop them up, so thanks for the reminder.
This is awesome, Shirley. Everything matches so prettily.
Beautiful Poinsettia dn DP Shirley..Loz
You and I are kindred spirits! There’s no such thing as too much paper! Love our card, dear friend! Beautifully done!
This is beautiful!!! Your paper matches your poinsettia perfectly! Love the dimension on your bloom; it looks fabulous!

I just ran across this post. It made me laugh because I am also a collector of dsp! In fact, just today I've been going through nearly all of it and splitting up piles of it for two of my friends and another couple of boxes to donate to the art teacher at the school.
BTW, I do really like the card on this post too! That is such a great layout to use!
