Crane of Fortune

 This has been sitting in my stash for awhile so decided to finish it up and make a birthday card.  Did a lot of embossing (copper embossing powder from my stash).  I think it really made the crane and "happy birthday" stand out.  Had some cooper specialty papers that I know is at least 20 (yes 20) years old.  

 The sentiment is new using Something Fancy StampinUp - and die cut with the set of dies that goes with the set.  This set has a lot of useful and fun sentiments.  

Off to finish up Valentines for my chemo buddies and grands. 

Gumball Card with Gumball Bank

 My first post of the new year - I must do better at posting - but - somehow the time just gets away or I don't manage it very well.  

As a Chemo Angel when we have a buddy we are "required" to write a note card or letter weekly of support and cheer.  I have a young man that is my buddy - so I made him a gumball card (Stampin UP) and found a gumball machine to send with the card.  Refills will go with the package as well.  I borrowed the SU set from a dear friend - so thank you Cheryl.  

It is a shaker card - the set which is now retired came with add on for the shaker dome and the gumball beads (which did not cooperate as they rolled all over my desk).  I got his younger brother one as well only in blue.  And will send his two older sisters some nail polish or etc. for Valentines Day.
