Spring Blog Hop

We are having a SPRING blog hop over at Paper Wings this evening and I know a lot of people are so ready for signs of spring, warm weather, sunshine, blooming flowers and the birds setting up their new homes. For my projects I did a card - which I cased a "long" time ago from Julie Robinson. It is a pocket card and I used a flower packet to insert in my pocket, I used Catelynne DP which went so well with my focal image from Springtime Garden. I colored my image with Copic markers, cut out with nesties label 4. I had some of these cute spiral clips from a long time ago and decided it complemented the project. For my boxes I used a pattern from SCS called Gable box - these were so much fun to make. I used More Mimi and Miss Moxie DPs to make my boxes which need an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper. Scores, and folds and magic a cute little box. I put Easter grass in them - chocolate bunny rabbits in one and will put chocolate in the other one also. I made a rosette to put on the Miss Moxie box and a flower on the More Mimi box. Loved making both of the embellishments they were so much fun - almost therapeutic. Hop on over and see what the other players have created to put you in the mood for spring.

What a great blog to discover this morning after checking outside for the forecast inch of fresh white stuff (We're an inch behind average precipitation, presently.) which is diving straight to earth in pellet like flakes. Build up is happening. Seedlings already spouting from last year's heavy shed of natural replanting through reseeding will likely die in this cold snap. They were upwards of an inch and a half high with three leaves full spread to catch bright sun of the past few days' melt.
Your CAS is memorable and fun to receive complete with seed packet. More study later when the seed packets are on sale! Yeah! Thank you for sharing your blog hop project.
Keep Looking UP!
