February 18, 2013 Tall Tulip

Tall Tulips Digi with matching digi paper, jar from Dear Lizzy, chalks for coloring, ribbon from stash, SU embossing folder

Wish I could take full credit for this idea but it was truly cased from my friend Patti  in fact we were shopping together about a year ago and we each bought a sheet of the mason jars - 12 mason jars in different colors etc.  well as you can see if remained in my stash - saving it for that special occasion - folder for a year.  Don't know why crafters do this but I am guilty.  The tall tulips were free with purchase from Doodle Pantry so I printed out the uncolored tulip and got out my chalks which I had not used for a long long time and went to work on coloring - fussy cut them and arranged them in the jar.  Then I cut the lid off the mason jar and adhered the pink gingham ribbon under the jar lid and taped it back on, the sentiment has a bit of freehand doodles, mounted on beautiful digi paper, then on the beautiful SU embossing folder with the tulips border.   Card finished and ready to go to someone who is needing some encouragement.  Sorry about how dark this came out - it just didn't appear this dark when  I did the editing in photo shop.

Beautifully done! And it's even prettier in real life! Love those flowers, and it's so much fun that you are mixing up your coloring - just the other day you colored with metallic pencils! Another fun image from Doodle Pantry! Thanks for sharing :)
