March 18, 2014 Catapillar Mail

There was a request from a friend for a card for a special patient that she was going to forward some cards to, and when I saw the Catapillar Mail on Doodle Pantry I knew that was what I wanted to use to make her card.  I used a precolored digi (easy peasy) and printed out some DP that comes with the digi, still needed another DP so went to my old TAC papers for the purple flower DP.  Had not used my sewing machine to stitch cards in a while and I love the look so stitched all the DP down, used a die cut for the focal image - tied a cute yellow bow with my bow easy and the card was ready to be on the way.  I liked the card so much I made my little chemo buddy one too!!!     Challenges:

Glitter n Sparkle - Include some green
The Shabby TeaRoom - Anything Goes
     The Crafters Bloggers - Nature

Eeeks! Love that you sewed on your card! Well done! Love this - so bright and happy. Thanks for sharing, and for a great day today. I needed to get out! Free at last...well, at least until the next front blows thru here this weekend!

Shirley, Thanks so much for this card. Jacie, and her Mom loved it! They had never seen stitching on a card before, and the image is darling! Thanks again!
