This week at The House that Stamps Built our challenge is do do a Fun Fold. Here is mine.
I'm not sure what this fold is called but I have had so much fun making these cards. The secret is to use s template triangle that is 3 1/2 x 2 1/4. I choose to go with a birthday card as I have a great niece that is turning 2 in a couple of weeks so I used 8606-E Happy Birthday then die cut a variety of balloons to use on the front fold in various bright colors. Now for the surprise open the card up and 1603-K Bouquet Bear which I colored with copics, fussy cut her out - (I used a plain white cardstock back when I cut her out so the copics wouldn't show through. I then glued just the bottom half of her on the fun fold so she would pop up when opened. For the sentiment I used 1918-F Beary Special and place a small balloon over an "oopsie".
I think this might be called an angled corner fold - but anyway it works for not only girl cards, but masculine as well as kids.

Fabulous card Shirley! Great fold and so bright and cheery for a little one, like that one of the balloons is a heart, and of course the darling teddy bear!

Love, love this card. I've been meaning to make one of these for a looooong time, but I just haven't gotten around to it. So glad you reminded me what fun cards these are. I may have to come back to your blog to get those triangle dimensions when I do attempt it.
