This challenge is always one of my favorite in the summer at The House that Stamps Built . Christmas in July, I seldom start on Christmas cards in July but at least I know I have one ready.
I had a different idea in my head when I started and this is what evolved. I'm thinking someone I know might get a new puppy for Christmas (no names mentioned). I used 8120-K Scruffy Puppy 8103-C WOOF as well as 1141-F Merry Christmas and 4818-J and 4519-H Gift box and gift box top.
I paper pieced the box with some holiday paper as well as the strips and bow on the box. I colored the puppy with copic markers and fussy cut him out. I carefully cut a slit in the box for puppy to slip through and I pushed him through to where just the head and chest are showing I used a speech bubble punch for my Woof and Merry Christmas sentiment with a bit of bling.
Now why not take a look at our DT Rock Stars for inspiration and to get you started.

This is so cute Shirley, great start to your Christmas cards!
That's adorable! I love the pretty papers you used, and the cute puppy fits so perfectly into your box.
Cute, cute, cute!!! Love this sweet pooch popping out of the gift box! You rocked this challenge, dear friend! Thanks for the inspiration!
Oh, my gosh, this is just too cute! I love that little puppy in a box. I can just imagine the twinkle in a child's eyes if they got a puppy for Christmas. I have less than a dozen Christmas cards made so far, so I'm really behind this year.
So cute! I love that sweet dog. Fun card for "someone".
Great use of that box stamp - and what present it is with the cute dog! Perfect!
Love the super cute doggies and card Shirley...loz
This is so adorable!! I've had a similar thought in my head involving this box image and a cat, but haven't made it work yet! Great job and a fun sentiment to go along with it! Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.
