Sometimes I go through my "past" creations that I keep in a basket - and I found this idea. Remember when distressing the edge was so popular - I used a pair of scissors to distress the edge (if you zoom in you can see the distressing) but they also have edge distress tools. I used
10301-H Patti's Flower Solid and stamped it in a hot pink ink - it stamped so beautifully. I then fussy cut three flowers and place then on my top distressed designer paper. For my sentiment I used 1105-E Thinking of You as Iam always needing just general Thinking of you or just because type cards. I die cut the sentiment out using an oval die and then used two small hearts bling on each side.

Your card is so pretty Shirley!! I remember wanting to distress EVERYTHING!! LOL! I'm thinking it's still a thing though and try to incorporate it when I can anyway! :) Love the colors and the popped up flowers on this so much!! Hope you have a great day blog friend!
Such a striking card, like the combination of papers with your beautiful flowers Shirley!
I've never actually tried to distress my DSP, but it sure looks great on your card. Love those pretty flowers, too.
Love the distressing! I don't do that enough. Wonderful card, Shirley!
I still love distressed edges and use them quite a bit! Love your pretty pink flowers and the corrugated look to your solid paper!
Love your colors! You picked a great flower stamp.
Gorgeous card and colours Shirley...loz
Very pretty card, haven't distressed edges in a long time! Love your flowers! Thanks for sharing :)
Very pretty! it's funny has something (like distressed edges) can be ALL the rage and then fade almost completely away! I think your distressing is fabulous and goes perfectly with these pretty papers and flowers!
