July 29, 2020 Sketch Challenge

Wow another month almost gone - and it has been a hot one - perfect for my cactus card which grows well in the desert heat. This week our challenge over at The House that Stamps Built  is a sketch challenge.  This was our sketch

and here is my card:

.  Now this card had a purpose -my granddaughter (who is the light of my life) and has given us three great grand children has lost 35 pounds and has a few more to go - so I thought I would send her a card of encouragement.  I used
2422-L Cactus - stamped in a pretty shade of green .  Can you believe I had one piece of cactus paper in my "stash" so I used part of it for this card.  Two more coordinating prints and the basic layout was complete.
I then used a die cut alphabet to cut out the letters "loookin sharp" as a play on words and glued them in place.  I mailed this to her a a couple of days ago so anxious to hear from her to see how she liked it.  She got it and loved it - said she "had the best grandma ever".

Now it is your turn to make a card or project using the challenge of follow the sketch. So many possibilities on this challenge.  You have a full month to enter our challenge.  You do not have to use Repeat Impressions stamps you will have two chances to win a $25 gift certificate towards stamps. Now it is your turn to make a card using the challenge of  Follow the Sketch., you can see there are a lot of possibilities for this challenge.  You have a full month to enter our challenge to win.  You do not have to use Repeat Impressions stamps but if you do you will be entered twice for the drawing of a $25 gift certificate to Repeat Impressions.

If you look on my right side bar I also have a discounted coupon for you to use when you go shopping at Repeat Impressions.
Now why not take a look at our DT Rock Stars for inspiration

I love cactus cards! I bought some cactus dies just so I can make some. Your card is perfect, and I'm sure your granddaughter thinks so, too. Wish I knew her weight loss secret. I could stand to lose a few pounds, too!
