This week over at The House that Stamps Built our challenge is the inspiraton photo. I have never made a "galaxy" background but I did enjoy making this one as my first. You can use inks, or watercolors, I choose to go with Distress Oxide Inks , It was truly add a little more here, add a little more there. Since this reminded me of a dark woods scene I decided to use this fun stamp 10634-I
Outhouse and the sentiment 10626-F Oh Crap. For my pine trees I used
2709-I large pine forest and 2714-D small pine forest. Since I am not really sure yet what I am going to do with this card - I didn't put a sentiment on the inside. I'm thinking "maybe" for my physical therapist that has put me through some "crappy" workouts for my right shoulder. Hmmm, or maybe a birthday I forgot.
Now it is your turn to make a card using the challenge of our Photo Inspiration - as you can see there are a lot of possibilities for this challenge. You have a full month to enter our challenge to win. You do not have to use Repeat Impressions stamps but if you do you will be entered twice for the drawing of a $25 gift certificate to Repeat Impressions.
If you look on my right side bar I also have a discounted coupon for you to use when you go shopping at Repeat Impressions.
Now why not take a look at our DT Rock Stars for inspiration and to get you started.

Fabulous card, your sky is fabulous, you even recreated the swirl in the inspiration photo, wow!
You've done such an amazing job with your blended night sky!! Really love that and OH MY WORD this card is just too cute with that image and sentiment!! Thanks for the chuckle and a great take on the challenge my friend! HUGS
The card for this week was my first attempt at a galaxy too -- I made it as soon as Wendy posted the boards and then ended up making several more since then! Your sky turned out perfect!
Your background looks absolutely awesome! Love the outhouse image, too. I plan on making an "Oh Crap" card for my brother's birthday. I think I'll use the toilet paper roll idea, though. We'll see if it actually turns out.
Nice post. I learn something totally new and challenging on sites I stumbleupon everyday.
It will always be useful to read through content from other authors and use something from other sites.
Perfect take on the challenge and love the tongue in cheek humor!
Fabulous scene Shirley But I had a good laugh when I saw the sentiment. It is Perfect..Loz
This cracked me up when I saw in the lineup, Shirley. I'm sure your PT found your intended humor in this card too. I love it!
Fabulous card; very fun!! And your background is awesome; can't believe it was your first!
Appreciate the recommendation. Let me try it out.
